Farhan Akhtar demands ₹45 crore compensation

Farhan Akhtar is reportedly seeking ₹45 crore from Ranveer Singh after the actor exited the film Don 3 shortly before production was set to begin.
Industry sources suggest the demand is linked to substantial financial losses incurred during the film’s long pre-production phase. The team had invested years of planning and preparation, and Ranveer Singh’s sudden departure is said to have disrupted schedules and created uncertainty for the entire project.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has also expressed strong disapproval over the development and has reportedly called for a non-cooperation stance against Ranveer Singh until the issue is resolved.
FWICE advisor Ashoke Pandit stated that the situation has impacted a large number of film workers, noting that hundreds of technicians and crew members associated with the project are now facing uncertainty due to the stalled production.
The incident has sparked wider discussions within the film industry about professional commitments, contractual responsibilities, and the consequences of sudden exits from major productions.
Ranveer Singh has not yet issued any public statement regarding the reported compensation demand or FWICE’s position.
As of now, the matter remains unresolved, with the industry closely watching for further developments regarding the film and its future.
