BJP leader Unveils ‘Maafiveer’ Billboards Mocking Rahul Gandhi

BJP leader Tajinder Bagga has installed several billboards across Delhi targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, referring to him as “Maafiveer” after he expressed regret before the Madhya Pradesh High Court in a defamation case. The billboards, displayed at multiple locations in the capital, feature the slogan “Desh Ka Maafiveer” along with the words “I Am Sorry,” mocking Gandhi over the court proceedings. The defamation case was filed by Kartikeya Chouhan, son of Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, over remarks allegedly made by Gandhi during the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly election campaign. Through the billboard campaign, the BJP has sought to highlight Gandhi’s expression of regret in the case, using the “Maafiveer” slogan as part of its political messaging against the Congress leader.
