“CRPF vehicles coming from UP to attack you”: Mamata Banerjee
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, speaking at a rally in Bethuadahari, claimed that 200 CRPF vehicles from Uttar Pradesh were being deployed ahead of the Assembly elections to target local people.
Mamata urged her supporters not to panic, describing the situation as a short-term phase of 15 to 25 days before the “real game” begins. Her remarks were later shared on her official Facebook page.
The comments have drawn criticism from several quarters, with concerns that they could heighten tensions between residents and central security forces. Officials have not yet responded to the allegations.
