FWICE withdraws non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has withdrawn its non-cooperation directive against actor Ranveer Singh after he served a legal notice challenging the decision.
The move comes as a major relief for the actor, as technicians, workers and other professionals affiliated with FWICE are now free to work on his projects without any restrictions.
The directive had sparked controversy in connection with the upcoming film Don 3, which stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role. Following the actor’s legal response and subsequent discussions with key stakeholders in the film industry, FWICE decided to revoke the directive with immediate effect.
According to FWICE, the decision was taken after mediation efforts by industry bodies aimed at resolving the dispute amicably and maintaining harmony within the entertainment industry. The organisation emphasised that the withdrawal should not be viewed as a victory or defeat for either side, but as an effort to settle the matter through dialogue and established procedures.
With the directive no longer in place, FWICE members can now collaborate with Ranveer Singh on his ongoing and future projects. The development is expected to ease tensions within the industry and ensure that work on the actor’s ventures continues without disruption.
The resolution marks a positive step for both FWICE and Ranveer Singh, allowing all parties to move forward while maintaining professional cooperation within the film fraternity.
