Kerala govt issues Hajj kits with ritual stones for Jamarat

The Kerala government has taken an initiative to support Muslim pilgrims undertaking the Hajj by providing specially prepared kits to make their journey more convenient and comfortable.
These kits contain a variety of essential items needed for travel and stay in Saudi Arabia, along with materials required for performing key religious rituals. Notably, they include pebbles used in the Jamarat ritual, where pilgrims symbolically throw stones at designated pillars in Mina as part of the Hajj rites.
Officials say the initiative is designed to ease the challenges faced by pilgrims by ensuring they have access to necessary supplies. By including both practical and ritual-related items, the government aims to help pilgrims focus on their spiritual obligations without unnecessary difficulties.
The program is part of a broader effort to assist and support those undertaking the sacred pilgrimage, ensuring proper arrangements are in place for a smooth and meaningful Hajj experience.
