“We will play cricket with Mamata’s head”: Bengali woman
A video circulating on social media from West Bengal shows a woman making strong critical remarks against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.
In the clip, she expresses clear dissatisfaction with the current state leadership and rejects the TMC’s popular slogan “khela hobe.” She also uses a sharp comparison, likening political competition to a game directed against the Chief Minister, which has drawn attention due to its intensity.
The Trinamool Congress has not issued any official response regarding the video so far. Meanwhile, political observers and opposition supporters believe such incidents are likely to further heighten the already charged atmosphere of the upcoming campaign in the state.
